Perfect Solution for my High Traffic Carpet Areas
This clear runner is great and was exactly what I needed to solve my issue. I had new carpet installed and selected a lighter color (my mistake) which shows dirt very quickly. So after I cleaned it, I ordered this runner to lay in a high traffic area. It worked perfectly. It is thick, sturdy and lays flat (unlike big box versions that are a trip hazard). I was so pleased with this purchase that I immediately ordered more for one other area where I installed this light carpet. I also think it would make AWESOME shelf paper, because it is so thick and lays so flat, it would easily stay in place and be even easier to wipe clean.

This really fit the bill for me. My 13-year-old dog had a stroke that left her R side weak (she’s gonna be OK on meds for the rest of her life)! She also has hip dysplasia. Vets told me to put down rugs so she wouldn’t splay out so much on hardwood floors due to her now-weak R side and her hip dysplasia, and I really wasn’t excited to buy rugs I didn’t need. Then I found this. These clear runners provide just enough grip that she can walk normally on them w/o splaying out, like she would on the wood floors. I also bought a 30′ length one for a total of 40′ in length. That much fairly covers her main path thru the house. I especially like that I can see my wood floors thru them and they even seem to disappear at times. They lie really flat after a few days. I didn’t really have to use a hair dryer, as was suggested, and ony used weights on the ends for a few days to get them flat. They come with clear square 2-sided sticky tapes to secure them, but I haven’t needed them to keep the edges down. They pretty much stay put very well! I have never tripped over them as they do not raise up. You can see from the pics how they look. Really glad I found these!!

I followed the instructions and laid flat for couple of days and put books on it. Easy to clean surface, good value, thickness is strong and won’t wear.

Love the cleanability and style!
Okay, so the product is great. It is exactly what my home needed. We run a chihuahua rescue and all of the dogs are elderly so accidents are 100% happening. These rugs not only protect my floor, but they are so easy to clean. So much better than having to wash rugs every day. Plus, I got the floral ones and they look great with my home/decor. My only recommendation for buyers is that they are fragile. I tried to adjust my couch on top of the rug and ripped a whole chunk out of it. I was able to repair it, but be careful about sliding furniture around on them. My only complaint is that I ordered 6 rugs in different sizes. I ended up with 8 rugs and 4 of them were sizes I didn’t order. So I had to return and wait and all that but really not a huge deal to me.

Great buy
I just received this item today (9/7/25) and laid it in my front hallway (purchased the 2’x8′) . The runner is thick and strong and has a non-skid texture on the top, which I noticed work well to walk on and also is holding my shoe-wiping mat well in place in front of the door (it has a rubber backing, but was always slipping on tile). The transparency allows the floor to show through well (even though I’m not fond of my entryway tile floor).Granted, I had to roll the runner backwards to get most of the end curling out – but that worked almost perfectly. To avoid future curling (and tripping) I used 3 of the 6 sticky pads on each end, rather than down the sides, which are not currently buckling/curling. I have double-sided transparent sticky pads I can add later, if needed.APPLICATION SUGGESTIONS: The sticky pad clear protector sheets are a bit challenging to remove, so I recommend loosening them before you remove each pad from the base paper. I also suggest laying the runner out in place, make your adjustments, then add the sticky pads at one end first WITH THE FLOOR SIDE OF THE STICKY PADS STILL COVERED. If your runner ends at a doorway, then do this end first. Then remove the pad covers one at a time and push them well down onto the floor. Go to the other end of the runner, add the sticky pads WITH THE FLOOR SIDE OF THE STICKY PADS STILL COVERED, then walk/slide your feet all the way to the other end, then pull on the runner from that end to get it as taut as possible. Stand on the runner near the end after you have is as taut as possible, and uncover the middle sticky pad and push it down. Then do the corner pads one at a time, pulling outward toward the corner before laying it down and pushing on the pad, to make sure it’s as flat as possible.

Didn’t work well for our purpose!
It’s ok. It was a little bit of a pain to get it to lie flat. Had to load books and things along the edges. Plus, we bought it to protect our wood floors from wet kids coming in from the pool during a pool party. But for some reason, water ended up seeping underneath it and rather than helping, it prob made it worse. I don’t necessarily think it’s the fault of the product but it didn’t end up working too well for us.

Expensive, but quality product
I’ve been using this as a table mat for a year and a half. It was a little tough to cut to size because the plastic is thick, but it was worth it. The cover works great. It lays flat and it’s easy to clean. Most importantly, the clear color has stayed the same (no discoloration). Product is expensive for just a piece of plastic, but it is made of a durable, quality plastic.

It looks great, and the product size is as advertised. However, if you plan on putting it in a place where alot of dust collects then I wouldn’t recommend as it gets stuck underneath and kinda sticks to it sometimes, it gets annoying to clean. Otherwise its great !
