Great product, no negatives or issues so far. The 2-pack is a great value, cheap enough that I worried about features or quality… Nope. Good on both fronts.QR code on the box provided a link to the app. One installed, the app basically took me through the setup for my Wi-Fi and let me add the 4-outlet unit in 30 seconds. App command over the three switched outlets is beyond easy, very intuitive. I never touched the manual – no need.On another screen, pairing with Alexa was just as easy and quick. 60 seconds later I had voice command of the whole unit, and could turn all three outlets on and off, or any individual outlet. Just absurdly easy and obvious.I really like that one of the four outlets is “always on”. This makes the addition of a smart outlet unit nonintrusive if you just need one to stay on for some reason.In brief, just stop looking for the perfect smart outlet for home automation. This one is the best I’ve tried, at a better price than others. Even with two in the box, I immediately bought a second pair for some garage automation things I wanted.

One of the best!
I bought a set of 2 end of November 2022. Now it’s 2026 so you can tell they do last 3 years and still going.- 1 still running well although I’ve reset it many times with different networks for different testing purposes – Hint: The set up is fairly easy.- The 2nd one gave up on me after 2.5 years after a few dumb set up tests: Don’t have router that provide the wifi that connected plugged in the same smart tab/plug/socket bc when you switch off/on that would confuse the heck out of it. :-)My views:- Look and few catchy. Touch it!- Pretty reliable.- The price of other strip/set/unit with similar features is far more or double of KMC’s. Not only that, you get a pack of 2.

Good product works as stated
Good product works as stated. I use this device to have remote control over many devices in my home and it works wonderfully.Note, 1 of 2 of the devices in the 2-pack did fail with blinking/clicking noise however customer support replaced the device without question upon contacting them.

3 smart outlets in 1 unit
I really like these taps. So far I’ve purchased 4. They’re easy to set up and pair with Alexa. They each have 3 switched outlets and one that’s always on. The only negative I have is that one of the ones that I purchased in 2022 recently stopped working. I threw it out and replaced it but then I read reviews that said KMC has, at least sometimes, responded to a customer inquiry by replacing the unit even when it was beyond it’s warranty.

Not reliable product
I didn’t start using it for almost 2 years after purchasing it. It worked well for little over a year with no issues. Now it is blinking with a clicking sound every 2 seconds. I guess it is tripping every 2 seconds. I see that when the connected gaming and monitors are going off and on. I don’t think it is because of this unit was unused for a very long time. Please let me know if there’s any fix for this.

75% failure rate within 6 months
Picked up a pair of these a couple weeks ago and one of them failed a few days after install. I use 4 of these in my automated home network and when they work, they work great. Easy to set up and seamless integration with Alexa. Not sure why one of them quit, but I received a replacement in a couple days, and I am back up and running again. I still give them a 5 star because, like I said, when they work, they work. I understand that electrical devices do fail sometimes, and it’s just the nature of the beast. Update: After using these switches for about 6 months I am dropping my star rating due to a 75% fail rate and poor network connectivity issues. I have two that fail to connect or lose connection and now one that randomly switches off and on without any human or Alexa interaction. They also cause interference with other devices in the network. Don’t buy these, they are junk!Sad really…I like these switches, but they are heading to the dumpster.
